Graduate in Biotechnology at the University of Cadiz with a specialization in biomedicine, and I also earned a master’s degree in health biotechnology from Pablo de Olavide University. During my master’s thesis, I focused on molecular biology and genetic approaches to study the embryonic development of the pancreas, as well as the progression of pancreatic endocrine diseases like diabetes using transgenic murine models.

Currently, I am conducting my predoctoral research at the Multiscale in Mechanical and Biological Engineering (M2BE) group. My primary research focus involves analyzing the tumor microenvironment and its impact on tumor migration, growth, and aggressiveness in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
