Lucia Orunesu .

PhD Student in Biomedical Engineering with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Cagliari and a Master’s degree in Bioengineering (Rehabilitation track) from the University of Padua. My academic background focuses on biomechanics, rehabilitation technologies, and computational modeling of biological systems. I have experience in prosthetics, sensor-based analysis, and biomedical device evaluation, supported by strong programming and simulation skills in MATLAB and Python. My current research investigates multiscale modeling of bacteria–host cell interactions under physiological conditions, integrating biomechanics and computational approaches to study complex biological systems.
