METASTRA. Project Presentation video

We present the video of the METASTRA ProjectComputer-aided effective fracture risk stratification of patients with vertebral metastases for personalised treatment through robust computational models validated in clinical settings”.

When cancer spreads to the spine, weakened vertebrae can fracture, causing pain and serious complications. For clinicians, assessing fracture risk in patients with spinal metastases is complex and often imprecise.

METASTRA brings together experts in medicine, biomechanics, and artificial intelligence to develop personalised, patient-specific tools for predicting fracture risk.

By combining clinical data, imaging, and advanced computational models, the project aims to support better medical decisions, reduce unnecessary treatments, and improve patient outcomes.
